Digital Artist/Graphic Designer Robin G. Morgan has long been involved in the visual arts, both as an artist, educational consultant, media developer and middle/high school teacher of Digital Arts - teaching the courses of Multimedia Design, Web Design, Informational Design, Interactive Design, Portfolio Design and Digital Publishing.

As the co-owner of Quilt This!, an internationally-recognized on-line retailer of fabric, thread, patterns and notions, Robin created Thank-You postcards and one-of-a-kind bookmarks for customers of the business, which soon expanded into Fabric Melodies - digital prints created from quilt fabrics and batiks.

The challenge has always been to create the most realistic image, one that dares the viewer to reach out and feel each tiny detail. Using a photograph as the inspiration, Robin first selects each fabric, paying special attention to pattern, texture, color, light and movement. Batiks easily become a canvas as hand-painted details just seem to dance off the page. Most creations take hundred of hours to complete, layer by layer of fabric and painted details.

What you see is the direct result of a visionary artist and talented designer who just loves to create beautiful images using an unexpected medium.
